The unexpected holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying metamorphoses echo through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an special katana in addition to multiple items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
