Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
